Diesel Engine Parts Corp. Expands Fusion Welding Remanufacturing in Support of ‘Green’ Initiative Demands

In addition to increases in production line machinery and production line personnel, DHPS President Paul Blizzard has announced the addition of two key management appointments.

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. — Diesel Engine Parts Corp. (DHPS) is announcing the expansion of diesel cylinder head remanufacturing capacity utilizing the company’s refined fusion welding technology. This cost-effective remanufacturing process has proven to be very important in helping commercial, military and governmental organizations meet their goals to "reuse and recycle," the company says.

In addition to increases in production line machinery and production line personnel, DHPS President Paul Blizzard has announced the addition of two key management appointments.

Ray Falkenrath is the new DHPS vice president of business development. Most recently, Falkenrath was business development manager for MAHLE Clevite. His past experience includes work developing engine products and creating supply chains to support engine remanufacturing activities at General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Navistar, AM General, Jasper Engine & Transmission and many of their authorized remanufacturing partners.

According to Blizzard, "Ray has been a key person in the development of products and processes that support the cost-effective and environmentally friendly engine remanufacturing industry." In his new role, Ray will direct the development of product and supply chain activities to support the expanding worldwide customer base of DHPS.

Clancy Johnson has accepted the position as plant manager of DHPS’s Lenoir City, Tenn., facility in the Knoxville area. Clancy joins DHPS after 35 years of plant management with Cummins Engine Co. Johnson is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business management.

Blizzard commented, "Clancy’s extensive diesel engine component manufacturing experience and refined management skill set make him the perfect person to join our rapidly growing company."
