AutoZone Unveils New iPhone App

The application enables users to quickly and easily check pricing and availability for the parts they need based on their selected store.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – AutoZone announced a new automotive help and shopping tool for iPhone users available immediately in the Apple App Store. This first release of the app simplifies the user’s shopping experience and provides access to AutoZone’s free vehicle repair guides and entire product catalog, the company said.

Additional features include the ability to browse AutoZone’s inventory for parts and accessories, create shopping lists, check availability and pricing, locate an AutoZone store and track AutoZone Rewards account balance.

"This new mobile app extends our automotive repair expertise to iPhone users in new ways by adding some of the top used features and functionality on AutoZone.com," said Jamey Traywick, director, E-Commerce, AutoZone. "Now it’s easier than ever to get the parts and information you need to do the job right the first time."

The AutoZone application for iPhone enables users to quickly and easily:

• locate a store, get store contact information and hours and get directions to the store with a zip code or using the built-in GPS locator;
• create and store vehicle information to personalize their shopping experience;
• create and manage shopping lists to expedite their in-store visits;
• check pricing and availability for the parts they need based on their selected store;
• get unlimited access to vehicle specific repair instructions to help them complete their projects; and
• view their AutoZone Rewards account balance.
