READING, Pa. — EnerSys recently released its ODYSSEY battery Fleet Saver Brochure, which outlines potential cost savings for its line of ODYSSEY 65-PC1750, 12V heavy duty/commercial batteries. The brochure features a cost savings "calculator" that shows the savings associated with using an ODYSSEY 65-PC1750 battery versus a conventional SLI group 65 battery.  Additionally, the brochure highlights the ODYSSEY 65-PC1750 battery’s ability to reduce gasoline use and greenhouse emissions.

"The ODYSSEY battery Fleet Saver Brochure helps educate heavy duty and commercial fleet managers about the ODYSSEY 65-PC1750 battery’s advantages, including its environmental and cost-related benefits," said Dana Kowalski, marketing communication supervisor for EnerSys. "Not only can the ODYSSEY 65-PC1750 battery help you save three quarters a gallon of gas per hour (per vehicle), it helps to reduce 879 lbs of CO2 per day for a 20 vehicle fleet."
