Skyward Automotive Products (SKP) announced senior leadership changes within its U.S team. Effective Jan. 1, Matt Verger has been named president of Skyward Automotive Products and taken over management of the SKP leadership team. Verger succeeds Jim Murphey, who was the founding president of SKP in 2016.
Previously, Verger served as vice president of sales for US and EMEA for Spectra Premium Industries. Most recently, he worked as a senior vice president at Active International, an international media conglomerate.
Verger will be supported by longtime SKP employee Joe Sotolongo who was recently promoted to the role of vice president of product and business development along with Mike Jacabacci, senior director of sales and board member as well as Brent Baldwin, administrative manager; Andy Lee, product and quality control manager; Tony Guan receiving manager; and Lake Persaud, warehouse and operations manager.
“My role is first and foremost to continue the value proposition that SKP has fostered. My focus will be threefold; elevating our catalog to best in class, continuing to identify and develop product categories needed in the market and bringing new marketing techniques to the automotive aftermarket,” Verger said.
