Gates Corp.’s Loder Appointed to CAWA Manufacturer Council

Alan Loder is the senior sales manager for the West/Southwest region at Gates Corp. overseeing 13 states.

Alan Loder of the Gates Corporation has been appointed to CAWA’s Manufacturers’ Advisory Council. Loder is the senior sales manager for the West/Southwest region at Gates Corporation responsible for 13 western states. He has been a part of the organization since May 2009, when he started as a territory sales manager. He was promoted to a management role in September 2017.

With a career spanning over two decades in the automotive industry, Loder’s journey began in 1995 when he ventured into the installer/repair segment after relocating from Southern Oregon to California. He then transitioned to a role as an outside sales representative for AmPac Tire Distributors, gaining insights into the sales dynamics of the field, CAWA said.

During the appointment process, Young Suhr Jr., chair of the board of directors, said: “I am looking forward to Mr. Loder’s service as a representative of a long-time member, the Gates Corporation. We appreciate his commitment to the industry and are pleased to announce that he is joining the CAWA Manufacturers’ Advisory Council. I look forward to his participation and contributions to CAWA in assisting the Association in achieving its goals as an effective and valuable automotive care industry organization.”

In 2022, Loder was honored with the Gates Corporation’s President’s Award, a testament to his contributions and commitment to excellence, CAWA said. He is also a two-time recipient of the Victory Club Award, a reflection of his consistent achievement of sales targets and goals, the organization said.
