Gates Corp. To Unveil Virtual Reality Training At AAPEX

Booth visitors will have the opportunity to witness the system without having to leave their seat.

Gates Corp., a global diversified manufacturer of power transmission and fluid power solutions, has announced they will feature a virtual reality training module in its AAPEX booth. This training will be available in Gates booth No. 4038 from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 in Las Vegas.

Booth visitors will have the opportunity to witness the serpentine system like it’s never been seen before, without having to leave their seats. “We’re excited to explore technological avenues that enable more engaging training opportunities. Virtual reality is one of many ways that Gates is continuously improving their digital offerings,” said Todd Hack, vice president, automotive aftermarket sales.

Gates has had a presence at AAPEX for decades. This premier event featuring thousands of automotive aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers provides an ideal setting to highlight new products and technologies. This year, Gates says it is thrilled to allow booth visitors to view a three to four minute virtual exploration of the serpentine system. The experience will focus on belts and tensioners and the importance of complete system repair.
