Turbo Tint to Open Newest Franchise in Texas

The company anticipates having 18-21 franchise locations operating by the end of the year.

Moran Family of Brands, franchisor of general automotive repair, transmission repair and window tint services, announced its newest franchise location with a Turbo Tint store in Austin, Texas.

It will open on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, and is located at 9711 Menchaca Rd. in Austin. It will be the fourth location in the country and the first in Texas. The first opened in Oklahoma City, OK, in October 2020, followed by new stores in Delray Beach, FL, in 2021 and Orlando, FL in 2022.

The new Turbo Tint store will be owned by Austin resident Luke Everson, who has a background in accounting and previously worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Earlier this year, Turbo Tint announced a new development agreement to bring the brand to the Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson and Houston markets. The company anticipates having 18-21 franchise locations operating by the end of the year.

Turbo Tint specializes in automotive and architectural window tinting solutions. Under the brand’s concept, customers can purchase a tint package and schedule an appointment online. When they arrive for service on their vehicle, they will only need to select their desired shade of window film. The entire installation process is completed in one hour or less, the company says.

Turbo Tint locations also offers ceramic coating and paint protection services.

Turbo Tint says all of its locations feature a modern and spacious customer waiting area with oversized leather chairs, flatscreen TVs and computer workstations with free Wi-Fi in front of a cozy, fireplace setting, as well as complimentary premium coffee, beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks.
