Australian Workshop Equip. Leaders Visit Spain’s Cojali Plant

Australia’s Burson Equipment Team took part in Jaltest diagnostics factory training at the Cojali plant.

Burson Equipment, one of Australia’s leading national workshop equipment sales and service providers, has extended the division’s premium equipment knowledge and experience following a five-day visit to the Cojali research, design and manufacturing headquarters in Spain during late 2022.

Cojali is a three-decade strong multinational manufacturer of components, advanced diagnostics equipment and predictive maintenance and remote diagnostics solutions for commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural equipment, material handling equipment and vessels.

Cojali is based in the small town of Campo de Criptana, which is two hours south of the Madrid, the Spanish capital. A team of six Burson Equipment specialists took part in this special Cojali Distributor Training Course: Ian Perry, Mark Gough, Mark Perks and Scott Elfverson, along with Diagnostic Category Manager Jordan Aylott and National Equipment Manger, Alan Dowsett.

The course provided detailed training relating to the latest specification Jaltest diagnostic unit along with additional heavy-duty and marine sector diagnostic technology and software developments.

Cojali started as a manufacturer of engine cooling fans 30 years ago and has now become one of the world’s largest automotive aftermarket brands, suppling premium-quality parts and equipment across several automotive aftermarket segments in no less than 135 countries around the world.

According to Alan Dowsett, national equipment manager, this was an outstanding training opportunity. “Taking our team to one of the world’s most advanced design and manufacturing facilities for such world-leading automotive aftermarket products for factory training was a truly valuable opportunity.

“Burson Equipment is proud to distribute the Jaltest diagnostic unit, investing heavily in training to make sure that we fully support our customers with every unit sold. This can only be best achieved through direct factory training in which we are solidly committed to,” he added.
