Hitachi Astemo Americas’ Plover Appointed to CAWA’s MAC

Gary Plover is currently vice president of the Hitachi Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division.

Gary Plover of Hitachi Astemo Americas Inc. has been appointed to CAWA’s Manufacturers’ Advisory Council. 

During the appointment process, Michael Rukov, chair of the CAWA board of directors, commented, “As the MAC continues to grow, we are pleased to have Gary join our leadership team and contribute to our discussions of current and future industry issues. We look forward to his participation and contributions, which will assist the association in achieving its goals as an effective and valuable automotive aftermarket industry organization.”

Plover is currently vice president of the Hitachi Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division. He has been a part of the automotive industry for more than 25 years. He served his first six years in OE sales for Nichirin, on an international team that was responsible for mergers and acquisitions worldwide. He then moved to the aftermarket, working for Aisin World Corp of America, Goodridge, Superwinch. In his work, Plover is instrumental in creating strategies that increase global sales significantly with a proven record of accomplishment in driving record-setting revenues.
