Dayco Takes Centre Stage With BRT In Sydney

Supercar racing returns across four consecutive weekends at Sydney Motorsport Park from Oct. 29.

Dayco Australia will celebrate the long-awaited return of Supercar racing with Tim Slade’s CoolDrive Racing Ford Mustang at Sydney Motorsport Park later this month.

The talented designers at the Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) have developed a full car based Dayco livery that has been enhanced from the global automotive engine and thermal management component manufacturer’s website design.

To do this effectively and to take advantage of the spectacular night racing that will be taking in place at Sydney Motorsport Park, the Dayco sponsored team has used specially developed reflective signage provided by CARTREK. This will ensure that this eye catching, one-off Dayco livery becomes a major stand out of this event, celebrating the return of Australia’s and one of the world’s most popular touring car championships.

Supercar racing returns across four consecutive weekends at Sydney Motorsport Park from Oct. 29, including both day and night racing at the fast and exciting 3.9 kilometer circuit.

These spectacular events will be followed by a weeklong motor racing festival at Mount Panorama, that will include the Repco Bathurst 1000 to conclude this second consecutive pandemic affected season.

According to Dayco Asia Pacific Vice President – Aftermarket, Arnold Mouw, this is a rare opportunity for Dayco to showcase the leading automotive product brand in line with the return of Australia’s most exciting motor racing category.

“In sharing the desire to create a bigger impact for this return day and night Supercars event, the Blanchard Racing Team came up with this outstanding Dayco livery. I am sure that it will look great at the event and on television throughout this first of four Supercar racing weekends in Sydney.

“The special reflective Dayco signage and overall change to the look of the CoolDrive Mustang makes this a one-off livery that we hope Supercar fans will like, while also helping to celebrate the resumption of the 2021 Championship,” Mouw stated.

BRT driver Tim Slade is looking forward to getting back into racing mode with his new look Dayco Racing Ford Mustang from Oct. 29-31.

“We are certainly going to stand out in Sydney – particularly under lights, as this reflective livery design is fantastic. It is great to have Dayco step up as we finally return to racing, bringing on a new and exciting look for our CoolDrive Mustang. It has been a long wait for the fans and I am looking forward to ending the 2021 season as strongly as we can,” Slade stated.
