eTechnician Now Provides Diagnostic Coverage For PSI Engines

NEXIQ Technologies adds PSI engines module to its popular PC-based diagnostic solution.

NEXIQ Technologies has announced the release of eTechnician v2.3. The PC-based diagnostic solution now provides diagnostic capabilities for vehicles with Power Solutions International (PSI) engines using the MT88 Engine Control Module.

Adding work truck diagnostic coverage to its already robust heavy-duty coverage means that eTechnician has something for just about every type of vehicle in the commercial vehicle market, the company says.

The newly released PSI Engines Module supports 6.0L and 8.8L engines, as well as 8.8L LPG and 8.8L CNG engines. Broad Bi-directional Support is augmented with numerous vehicle programmable parameters and the ability to categorize and sort data points, view diagnostic parameters, read both active and inactive faults, and clear inactive faults.
