NEXUS Names Business Development Director North America

Prior to joining NEXUS, Joe Stephan was the EVP Sales - chief commercial officer at TRICO Group.

On Feb. 1, NEXUS Automotive International (NAI) welcomed Joe Stephan to the NEXUS team.

At the end of 2019, NEXUS announced that three supplier hubs would be created in 2020 in various regions of the world, with the scope to accelerate growth and strongly support our partners at a global and local level – one in Germany (Heidelberg), one in Japan (Osaka) and one in the US (Chicago). 

Stephan will be driving the globalization of the North American-based NAI suppliers in conjunction with Robert Kirr, executive director supplier management.

In his role as Business Development Director North America, Stephan will evolve the NEXUS Automotive International value proposition to its suppliers and the role of NEXUS North America (NNA). He will work with the NEXUS North America partners to progressively strengthen the value proposition of the regional entity and introduce the different N! services & concepts.

With 34 years’ experience in sales, marketing and product management within the automotive aftermarket and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from SUNY at New Paltz, Stephan is committed to providing continuous and advanced support to the N! Community. Prior to joining NEXUS, he was the EVP Sales – chief commercial officer at TRICO Group. Stephan also worked at Power Stop LLC as its chief operating officer and Federal-Mogul and Tenneco Automotive, where he served in various sales and marketing roles.
