The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar on Friday, April 17 at 4:00 p.m. EST entitled “Should the Coolant System be Under Lock and Key?”

Guest speaker Bobby Bassett, North American national training manager for Gates Automotive Aftermarket, will discuss how the coolant system has evolved over the years and how coolant is handled when facilitating a repair. In addition, the webinar will also cover topics related to today’s coolant system, including system insight, examining root cause failures and providing best practices when working on the coolant system.

As environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure standards evolve from voluntary practices to mandatory regulations, it is crucial for the industry to stay ahead of the curve, MEMA said. In the organization's effort to keep members informed, MEMA announced a Sustainability Hour webinar on Monday, April 15, via Zoom. The webinar will feature experts from MEMA and Pirelli Tire North America, where they will examine a recently published MEMA Summary along with widely used standards from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
