VIPAR Heavy Duty Gives Back To Its Community

Boys and Girls Club of Rockford, Crystal Lake Food Pantry and various other charities in the heavy-duty aftermarket industry received donations from VIPAR Heavy Duty.

VIPAR Heavy Duty recently fulfilled the holiday wish lists of more than 30 children, adopted by VIPAR Heavy Duty staff through the Boys and Girls Club of Rockford, Illinois. In addition to providing holiday gifts and necessities, VIPAR Heavy Duty staff also donated to support a holiday party for the children in the program.

In addition to providing gifts and necessities to local children, VIPAR Heavy Duty donated food, party supplies and decorations to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry to assist food bank patrons in providing their children with a birthday celebration.

“At VIPAR Heavy Duty we strongly support stewardship within our industry and community we live in and encourage our staff to volunteer and donate their time and talents,” said Chris Baer, president and CEO, VIPAR Heavy Duty. “We appreciate the support of our staff as well as our distributors, suppliers and industry associates in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of those in our community and throughout the heavy duty aftermarket industry.”

In addition to stewardship throughout the year, VIPAR Heavy Duty also continued its support of the Tony Pape Memorial Fund, in memory of Pape, a well-respected industry colleague. Funds generated at the annual golf outing, as well as those raised during the VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference, were used to support those in need.
