Bridgestone Commercial Solutions Announces Winner In ‘Drive A Firestone’ Sweepstakes For CDL Holders

Driver from Colorado wins one-of-a-kind Firestone Edition Class 8 tractor.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Bridgestone Commercial Solutions today announced that Brad Peterson of Wellington, Colo., is the grand prize winner of the "Drive a Firestone" sweepstakes. He takes home a 2013 Firestone Edition Class 8 tractor as his prize.

The tractor features special highly customized interior and exterior appointments to turn it into a Firestone. Peterson won the tractor at the 2014 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. His win concludes the Firestone Drives America Tour, which launched last July. In addition to the tractor, Peterson won an all-expenses paid trip for two to the 2014 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, assistance to help defray tax costs and up to a five year supply of Firestone tires.

The Firestone Drives America promotional tour travelled across the country, celebrating the iconic ‘F-shield’ brand and introducing new Firestone commercial truck tires to fleets and drivers. Several prizes were awarded throughout the sweepstakes, including all-expenses paid trips for two to a baseball championship series game, all-expenses paid trips for two to attend the college football national championship game and $500 gift cards and Firestone-branded apparel.

"Firestone is an iconic American brand with a rich history in trucking. This tour and sweepstakes allowed us to showcase our latest Firestone-brand tires – the FS591 steer, FD691 drive, and FT491 all-position radials – in a fun, unique manner across the country," said Matthew Stevenson, vice president of marketing, Bridgestone Commercial Solutions.
