As A member of CRP’s Automotive Product Development team, manage automotive product lines and conduct accurate and timely product research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • New Product development of specific product lines
  • Research product application, market demand and market price
  • Recommend additions to product lines
  • Supervise verification of product quality
  • Initiate the setup of new parts
  • Help coordinate product launch; including technical support to marketing for catalog dev.
  • Interact with sales force and customers as necessary to accomplish above responsibilities
  • Help market existing product lines
  • Analyze product line sales
  • Follow up with sales people as necessary to maximize product line sales
  • Recommend marketing actions to accelerate product sales
  • Review slow movers and recommend products to phase out
  • Research product application for existing parts and assist marketing dept to maintain catalog data
  • Verify product quality in active role of ISO Support Team
  • Assure product quality control
  • Supervise product returns process
  • Reduction of credits issued for product quality issues
  • Supervise first sample quality approvals
  • Support marketing with new product and now in stock announcements
  • Support marketing with data research for cataloging
  • Help and train the Product Development Group with Adonix related questions
  • Development of sales and profit for assigned product lines
  • Timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Assist purchasing department with Manual Monthly Forecast Updates
  • Additional duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or marketing, Automotive with 5+ years experience or equivalent experience and education
  • Mechanical aptitude and general understanding of automotive parts
  • Successful experience working with a project team
  • Excellent project management, organization and analytical skills<
