LAS VEGAS – Automotive Parts Associates, Inc. (APA) today at AAPEX presented BOSCH with an award recognizing an exciting achievement. During APA’s 2007 National Shareholders and Manufacturers Conference, BOSCH received $1 million in orders from APA Inc.’s WD shareholders in one afternoon.

“This award was the first of its kind for APA and we wanted to show our appreciation and recognize BOSCH in front of the industry. That’s why we chose this time and venue to present the award to them,” said Dan Freeman, president and CEO of APA, Inc.

Each year, APA hosts a Shareholders & Manufacturers one-on-one session during its national meeting. The participating manufacturers announce show specials ahead of time and APA shareholders arrive with orders in hand. In just four hours at this year’s show, APA shareholders placed more than $3.6 million dollars in orders.

“Our shareholders recognized the great show specials BOSCH offered this year and their appreciation definitely showed, in their one million dollars worth of orders,“ said Bill Cook, director of program development for APA.

The largest order placed at this year’s show was from SSF Imported Auto Parts, located in South San Francisco, CA. So, it was fitting that David DeBolt, purchasing manager and Ward Myers, director of sales and marketing, both from SSF, presented the award to Larry Milligan, vice president, sales independent aftermarket, who accepted on behalf of the BOSCH organization.

APA, Inc.’s next Shareholders & Manufacturers Conference will be held March 6 – 8, 2008 in San Antonio, TX.
