ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) has moved to new offices in Arlington Heights, Ill. Previously, AMRA was headquartered in the Washington, D.C., area.
“The new office is central to our base of U.S. and Canadian members, and is easily accessible when travelling through Chicago or O’Hare International airport. Many AMRA members travel through the Chicago area during their regular course of business, visiting local MAP participating facilities, customers and vendors,” said Barry Soltz, AMRA president.
As part of its consumer outreach efforts, AMRA operates the Motorist Assurance Program (MAP). MAP holds two of its three Technical Committee meetings in the Chicago area each year, and many attendees seize those opportunities to schedule other business in the area.
AMRA says the centralized location and consolidation of the increased AMRA staff was organized to better serve members and to better support the Motorist Assurance Program and the MAP Technical Committee. The new office space includes a conference area that can be utilized by MAP
subcommittees and taskforces.
