Amazon is kicking off September by giving away a specially modified 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to one lucky Amazon Automotive customer. Along with the sweepstakes, Amazon also is providing discounts up to 40 percent off select Jeep accessories and parts. This is the first time in the online retailer’s 18-year history that it has given away a vehicle.

The winner of the Amazon Automotive Jeep Giveaway will receive a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that has been transformed into an off-road trekker.  A 4-inch lift kit helps clear 35-inch Mickey Thompson tires mounted on hyper silver Rugged Ridge alloy wheels. Heavy-duty Rugged Ridge skid plates protect the underside of the Jeep from unforeseen rocks while off-roading. An XHD modular bumper with high-clearance ends surmounts most obstacles, while a Rugged Ridge performance winch safely pulls the Jeep out of trouble. Rounding out the modifications are a Rugged Ridge roof rack, which will mount a kayak or mountain bike, and HID lights. The entire Jeep with modifications is valued at $45,531.

In addition to the sweepstakes, customers are also invited to shop Amazon’s wide selection of automotive parts and accessories. Beginning Sept. 1 and running the entire month, top Jeep accessory brands such as Rugged Ridge, Warn and Bestop will be on sale with discounts of up to 40 percent.

The deadline for sweepstakes entries is 11:59 PM PT on Sept. 30, 2013. Amazon Automotive Jeep Giveaway rules, entry form and promotion details are available at http://www.amazon.com/jeepgiveaway.
