ALLDATA Updates Business Solutions Suite for Auto Repair Shops

ALLDATA integrates shop management system and customer relations tool for greater productivity.

LAS VEGAS — ALLDATA has released an update to its strategic shop management system, ALLDATA Manage, offering total integration with ALLDATA Market, its customer relations tool.

"Together, ALLDATA Manage and ALLDATA Market are a complete business and marketing solution," said ALLDATA Program Manager Bob Duncan. "Each program includes features that can help increase a shop’s profitability while driving repeat customer business."

The two systems integrate for easy shop-to-customer communication through mail or e-mail. Pre-written or customizable content is available for shops to remind vehicle owners about factory-recommended services or recommended repairs. Triggered by the vehicle’s mileage, ALLDATA Manage can automatically import maintenance schedules directly into repair estimates complete with parts and labor.

The core feature of ALLDATA Market is customizable content, which can be provided through either an ALLDATA-hosted Web site or a repair shop’s existing Web site. When paired, ALLDATA Manage and ALLDATA Market work together seamlessly, says the company. With ALLDATA Market, vehicle owners can make online appointments. At the shop, ALLDATA Manage can automatically generate an estimate based on the appointment details. ALLDATA Market also allows the shop to provide a personalized page for each customer, where they can access their vehicle’s history.

"ALLDATA Manage and ALLDATA Market are excellent programs in and of themselves," said Duncan, "But in combination, they offer powerful tools to help manage a shop and build a loyal customer base."
