AAPEX Alert: Exhibitors Beware Of Unauthorized Solicitation

Event Management has learned that four unofficial vendors are soliciting exhibitors.

AAPEX organizers are warning exhibitors to be on the lookout for unauthorized solicitations. Event Management has learned that the following four unofficial vendors are soliciting exhibitors. These vendors are not endorsed by or affiliated with AAPEX, and entering into financial agreements with such companies can have costly consequences, show organizers warn.

Unauthorized AAPEX Vendors:

· The "Aftermarket Daily News" is calling exhibitors and trying to sell ad space at a fairly hefty price claiming to be the only news source at AAPEX/ SEMA that will be available to the attendees before they get on-site. The official Show Daily for AAPEX is AAPEX Express, which is produced by Babcox Media.

· Trade Show Internet and [email protected] are using email to inquire if exhibitors need Wi-Fi access for AAPEX.

· Shutter Booth, based out of Las Vegas, is offering sponsorships and promotion to help companies stand out at AAPEX.

· Diversified Transportation Services is offering trade show shipping.

Event management strongly encourages all exhibitors to use only official AAPEX vendors. Verify any vendors and payments related to AAPEX with show management office by emailing Judy Novak at [email protected].
