XPEL Announces Two Additions to Leadership Team

XPEL has hired Tony Rimas as vice president of revenue and Kim Steiner as vice president of people services.

XPEL, Inc., a global protective films and coatings provider, has hired Tony Rimas as vice president of revenue and Kim Steiner as vice president of people services.

Rimas will oversee XPEL’s worldwide sales team, partnerships and commercial strategy. He has experience in several areas of the automotive sector, including retail, financial services, aftermarket and fleet services. Before joining XPEL, Rimas served as president of Repairify and CEO of its RepairOnDemand division. He also held positions as co-founder and managing partner of FM Capital and director of operations for the Red McCombs Automotive Group. Presently, Rimas is the chairman of NitroFill and managing partner of AuctionXM. He has also recently joined the board of Work Truck Solutions. Rimas, who has degrees in chemistry and physics and certifications from the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealer Candidate Academy, will report to Ryan Pape, CEO of XPEL.

Steiner will head the human resource program and shape people strategies for XPEL as the new vice president of people and culture. Steiner’s experience in global HR is extensive, XPEL said. She previously led HR for E&J Gallo’s U.S. sales organization and was vice president of HR Americas at Otis Elevators. Additionally, she held roles in HR and engineering leadership during her 21-year tenure at General Electric. Steiner earned a BS degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University.
