Bryan Murphy, CEO of WHI Solutions, said he credits the WHI Team for the company's revenue growth of more than 400 percent from 2002-2006. Murphy added that this recognition is validation for WHI’s business model.

RYE BROOK, NY — WHI Solutions (formerly Wrenchead) announced this week it has ranked 361 on Deloitte’s 2007 Technology Fast 500, a listing of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth over five years, from 2002-2006.

Bryan Murphy, CEO of WHI Solutions, said he credits the WHI Team for the company’s revenue growth of more than 400 percent from 2002-2006. Murphy said, "We have great people, who listen to our customers and provide them with great p rod ucts. Our on demand business management suite helps our customers grow faster and takes cost out of doing business. The faster they grow, the faster we grow."

"Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 recognizes technology companies who have achieved extraordinary growth in North America ‘s most innovative and competitive sectors," said Phil Asmundson, vice chairman, U.S. Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. "We congratulate WHI on this significant accomplishment."

Overall, companies that ranked on the 2007 Technology Fast 500 had growth rates ranging from 253 to 79,060 percent over five years, with an average growth rate of 1,823 percent.

Murphy added that this recognition is validation for WHI’s business model. “Several years ago we set out on a course to provide on-demand or web-based business solutions to manufacturers, distributors, retailers and their customers. Our idea was that by building solutions that would help our customers grow their businesses and take cost out of doing business, we would in turn be successful. Clearly today, on demand solutions are being adopted not only in the sectors of the economy that we service, but on a broader scale as well. It’s very gratifying for us when our customers call and tell us how much their revenue has increased, the new accounts they won or how they were able to better deploy resources as a result of using our products. That’s what makes it fun,” said Murphy.

The Fast 500 ranks the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America . It is compiled from Deloitte’s 16 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. Companies are selected based on percentage revenue growth from 2002 to 2006.

Entrants must own proprietary intellectual property or proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues or devote a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology. Base-year operating revenues must be at least $50,000 USD or $75,000 CD, and current-year operating revenues must be at least $5 million USD or CD. Companies must be in business a minimum of five years, and they must be headquartered within North America .
