Truck Hero Hires New COO For Truck Bed Cover Division

Sebastien Katch joins Truck Hero with more than 20 years of consulting and operating experience.

Truck Hero Inc., the market leader for a wide range of functional truck and Jeep accessories and leading online retailer, announced the appointment of Sebastien Katch as chief operating officer for Truck Bed Covers, reporting to the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Reminder. 

Katch’s role will oversee all Truck Bed Cover Manufacturing Operations and will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s Global Supply Chain & Procurement functions, and Truck Hero’s Distribution Network and Logistics. 

“We are very excited to have Seb join the team and help us to continue growing Truck Hero and our brands,” said Reminder. “He has been extremely successful particularly in areas of Operations Excellence and Lean Transformations.”

Katch joins Truck Hero with a wealth of knowledge, including more than 20 years of consulting and operating experience with an extensive background in operation excellence and transformations. Most recently, Katchwas an operating partner at L Catterton for the past nine years focusing on portfolio company value creation, spent six years at McKinsey & Co., leading business operations transformations, and eight years in the Aerospace industry, designing and building commercial and military aircraft engines.

Katch holds an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master’s in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master’s in finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, Canada.
