Toyo Tires Promotes Two Within Leadership Team

Conrad Galamgam has been named VP, product planning & technical services. Jared Norman has also been promoted.

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. recently announced promotions for two members of the company’s leadership team. Conrad Galamgam has been named VP, product planning & technical services and Jared Norman will become the sr. director finance, pricing & planning effective Sept. 1.

Galamgam currently serves as the sr. director product planning & technical services, a role he has held since August 2015 when he came to Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp from Nitto Tire U.S.A. where he was the sr. director of product planning and business development. He has more than 21 years with the company and has greatly contributed to its success by developing and enabling a strong team, strengthening the relationship with the parent company Toyo Tire Corporation in Japan, and revitalizing the product portfolio.

Norman is presently director, finance, pricing & planning and has been with Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. for seven years, having started with the company as sr. manager of finance in 2013. Since then, he has taken on increasing levels of responsibility. Today he oversees all finance functions for Toyo Tire U.S.A Corp., including interfacing with other Toyo Tires business units and headquarters in Japan. Norman also manages strategic and business planning as well as the pricing and business analytics groups, while coordinating with supply chain management and IT on operational matters.

“Conrad’s knowledge of our company, experience in the tire industry, and strong relationship with R&D in Japan and the U.S. have helped generate a steady stream of exciting new products for Toyo Tires. His promotion to vice president is a direct reflection of his contributions to our success,” said Roy Bromfield, president & CEO of Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “Jared’s promotion is also a recognition of his key role including the management of our finances and planning leading up to and during our navigation of these unprecedented times. While many businesses are suffering, we continue to experience strong sales and solid financial results thanks to thoughtful strategic planning, strong dealer relationships, popular new product introductions and smart business decisions. I am confident both Conrad and Jared will be strong leaders at Toyo Tires for many years.”
