Tom Stewart Elected New CVSN President

Stewart was elected at the inaugural Aftermarket Distribution Summit, which drew nearly 160 attendees for three days of issue-focused panels, technology updates and networking events.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – At the recent Aftermarket Distribution Summit on Amelia Island, Fla., Tom Stewart, president of Carolina Rim & Wheel, was elected as president of the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN).

The CVSN slate of officers for 2010-2011 is:

·    President – Tom Stewart, Carolina Rim & Wheel, Charlotte, N.C.                             ·    Vice President – Marc Karon, Total Truck Parts, West Palm Beach, Fla.
·    Treasurer – Harry Amoroso, B & A Friction Materials Inc., San Jose, Calif.
·    Executive Vice President – Angelo Volpe, CVSN, Jacksonvile, Fla.

Two new directors were also elected:
 
·    Distributor: Paul Raymond, Parts For Trucks, Halifax, Nova Scotia

·    Supplier: Tony Pape, Accuride Corp., Evansville, Ind.

The inaugural Aftermarket Distribution Summit drew nearly 160 attendees for three days of issue-focused panels, technology updates and networking events. The new event combined the fall Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) meeting, the HDX Technology Conference and a Truck Parts Seminar.

CVSN will host its next Summit from Sept. 12-15, 2010, at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis.
