As 2007 came to a close, the editorial staffs of aftermarketNews (AMN) and Counterman magazine presented the fourth-annual Year in Review. The three articles in this ‘Top Ten’ series were among the highest read articles on AMN in the past few weeks. In case you missed any of them, here they are once again:
The Top Ten Newsmakers of 2007
The Top Ten Distribution Influences of 2007
The Top Ten News Stories of 2007
AMN readers were also interested to learn more about ACDelco’s new “360” initiative, which was unveiled at the 2007 AAPEX show. ACDelco 360 was developed to help communicate the company’s mission to provide a full circle of support to its distributors and their customers. You can read more about it in our Executive Interview with Nancy McLean, director of marketing for ACDelco GM Service and Parts Operations.
Finally, one of our own made headlines over the holidays when it was announced that Counterman Editor Brian Cruickshank has been named director of Northwood University’s University of the Aftermarket. An award-winning automotive journalist and editor, Cruickshank has spent the last 14 years at Babcox Publications and has served as editor of Counterman since 1999. Cruickshank will join Northwood on Feb. 4. He and his wife will relocate to Philadelphia in June.
