On Sept. 19, The Parts House (TPH) acquired the assets of White Brothers Auto Parts, including 12 locations in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Florida. This includes the distribution center in Atlanta.
White Brothers is a third-generation, family-owned and operated auto parts supplier headquartered in Macon, Georgia. They have serviced installers in central Georgia since 1946, growing their core base of customers over many decades.
“White Brothers has been a well-respected competitor for many years. Their associates, locations and Atlanta Distribution Center are great additions to our footprint. With our combined resources we will provide greater product availability to our collective customer base,” said David Honig, president of TPH. “We look forward to providing growth opportunities for our associates, as well as sales growth opportunities for our customers and business partners.”
TPH is a wholesale warehouse distributor of premium automotive and heavy-duty parts and accessories. TPH and its sister company XL Parts are owned by Marubeni Automotive Aftermarket Holdings (Marubeni Automotive), a subsidiary of Marubeni.
“Our objective is to be a reliable and respected supplier to automotive service providers in every market where we operate,” said Mike Odell, president and CEO of Marubeni Automotive. “We look forward to further expanding our footprint and market share in Atlanta and throughout the South, with a combination of new store growth and acquisitions.”
This acquisition expands Marubeni Automotive’s footprint from Texas to Florida and into Puerto Rico, bringing the company’s total location count to 197.
