The Parts House Acquires Cold Air Distributors

This acquisition expands TPH's location count in the Southeast market to 74 throughout Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and Alabama.

The Parts House (TPH) has acquired the assets of Cold Air Distributors (CAD), including 19 locations in Florida and the company’s Ft. Pierce distribution center.

“It has been over 50 years since Marvin Mastroff started Cold Air Distributors with his first warehouse in Miami. With the help of our son Russell, we expanded to 19 locations in Florida. It has been a pleasure and blessing to have our employees stay with us for so many years. Now we enter a new chapter and new ownership with TPH,” said Elinor Mastroff. “We look forward to watching the TPH-CAD team continue to provide opportunities for associates while keeping the traditions of knowledge, service and inventory for our customers.”

David Honig, CEO of TPH, stated, “CAD has been a tough and well-respected competitor for many years. We have always had an excellent relationship with the Mastroffs and Kerry Humphreys. Their associates, locations and Ft. Pierce Distribution Center are great additions to the footprint as we strive to provide greater availability to our collective customer base.”

The Parts House is a wholesale warehouse distributor of premium automotive and heavy-duty parts and accessories. This acquisition expands TPH’s location count in the Southeast market to 74 throughout Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and Alabama. TPH is part of Marubeni Automotive Aftermarket Holdings, which also owns XL Parts in Texas.
