The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Announces Second Winner In Muscle Car Madness Sweepstakes

Darrell Harrod was chosen randomly from more than 150,000 entries from service center customers of participating Auto Value or Bumper to Bumper parts providers in the Muscle Car Madness sweepstakes.

Washington, Kentucky, was the winner of a classic American muscle car as part of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance’s Muscle Car Madness sweepstakes. The customer of Moog Louisville Warehouse won a restored and modified 1971 Malibu Chevelle, valued at $31,000.

The car is equipped with a recently rebuilt 396 big-block engine bored out to 402 cubic inches.  It also features new American Racing wheels with low-profile tires and an exterior paint job by House of Kolor.

“This is the second muscle car we have given away as part of our Muscle Car Madness promotion. In addition to this awesome Chevy, we have already given a modified 1969 Mustang Fastback and we will award a gorgeous ‘71 Dodge Challenger,” said Alliance President and CEO John Washbish.

An additional 25 shop owners will join the Alliance at the Mecum Auction in May in Indianapolis where they will watch the bidding and check out American muscle cars, hot rods, Corvettes and more. In addition, one lucky winner will win $50,000 to bid on the car of their dreams.
