The AAM Group recently announced its 5/50 Warranty program, an exclusive service that extends the OE warranties of certain categories of products from participating brands up to 5 years or 50,000 miles. Offering a unique assurance of performance and product service life, 5/50 Warranty gives resellers a selling feature that does not rely on price — a key benefit in a marketplace where MAP and unilateral pricing are common, said the company.

Available only to subscribing Total Truck Centers resellers (and at no additional cost to those at the PRO, Gold or Platinum level), 5/50 Warranty follows OE warranty provisions, covering the original purchaser against defects in the product’s materials or workmanship. Coverage begins where the factory warranty ends; for example, a product with a 3/36 warranty will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for that period, then covered by Total Truck Centers for the balance of the 5/50 term.
