Terry Crawford Named CABA’s ‘Mr. Oyster Roast’ 2010

The award was made during the 63rd Annual CABA Oyster, Bull & Shrimp Family Fun Feast held this year at the Martins West banquet hall near Baltimore.

BALTIMORE, Md. — Terry Crawford, regional manager of Terry’s Tire Town in Odenton, Md., was named Mr. Oyster Roast 2010, Sunday, March 14, by the Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA). The award was made during the 63rd Annual CABA Oyster, Bull & Shrimp Family Fun Feast held this year at the Martins West banquet hall near Baltimore.

The Mr. Oyster Roast award is made annually to a person who has contributed significantly over many years to the social spirit and success of the CABA Oyster Roast. "Terry [Crawford] has brought hundreds of his employees and customers to the Oyster Roast in the past decade," said Sally Ernst, assistant executive director of CABA. "He and his staff buy tickets, sponsor prizes and then come to the event and have as much fun as anyone here."

More than 400 people were on-hand to witness Crawford’s award, which was held as a secret by his employees and customers and came as a complete surprise to him. "A very big surprise," said Crawford.
