TBC Promotes New President And CEO

TBC Corp. announced Friday the appointment of Erik Olsen as president and CEO as of Jan. 1, 2014. Olsen will succeed current President and CEO Larry Day, who said he plans to stay with the company as chairman on its board of directors.

TBC Corp. announced Friday the appointment of Erik Olsen as president and CEO as of Jan. 1, 2014. Olsen will succeed current President and CEO Larry Day, who said he plans to stay with the company as chairman on its board of directors.
 
Olsen currently serves as the company’s COO. He joined TBC in December 2004 as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Since then, he has served as president of Carroll Tire Co. and president and CEO of TBC Wholesale Group. He was also elected to the TBC board of directors in 2008.
 
As an incoming president and CEO, Olsen said his focus is to strengthen the company’s subsidiaries to better serve TBC customers, franchisees and associates.

There she will be serving as its Director of Government Affairs, which will keep her on the legislative and public policy side of advocating for the automotive aftermarket in Washington D.C.
