Take 5 Oil Change announced that its second-annual Folds of Honor Fundraiser generated $202,044 to support the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
“Take 5 is committed to the communities it serves and is dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of those who have served our local neighborhoods and country,” the company said in a news release.
Folds of Honor provides academic scholarships to the family members of fallen or disabled service members and first responders, enabling them to continue their education. Last year, during the inaugural Folds of Honor Fundraiser, Take 5 Oil Change raised $201,500 in support of Folds of Honor’s mission.
Throughout the Folds of Honor Fundraiser, which ran from May 21 through June 9, Take 5 Oil Change rallied its customers, employees and communities nationwide to contribute. Donations were collected at Take 5 locations across the country.

Take 5 Oil Change also will kick off its annual Children’s Hospital fundraiser in July. Last year, the Children’s Hospital fundraiser raised more than $1.1 million for children’s hospitals across the country.
