Take 5 Oil Change Opens 300th Franchise Location

Plans for 300 more locations are in the pipeline, the majority of which will be franchise-owned, Take 5 Oil Change said.

Take 5 Oil Change recently opened its 300th franchise location in the U.S. on Oct. 20. The new location comes after the franchise received improved rankings on the Franchise Times’ Top 400 and Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 lists.

The company jumped from #134 to #87 on the Franchise Times Top 400 in 2023, compared to its ranking in 2022. Since opening its first franchise in 2017, Take 5 Oil Change has been on a growth trajectory, the company said. As per reports from the Franchise Times, the franchise is now the fifth fastest-growing by sales growth at 47.6% and the eighth fastest in terms of store count increase at 20.2%. Additionally, the company climbed over 50 places to secure the #106 spot on the Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list for 2023.

Mo Khalid, executive vice president and group president of maintenance at Driven Brands, credited the company’s growth to its dedication to quality, innovation, and customer service. Celebrating the 300th franchise location in the U.S., he expressed optimism about the brand’s continued expansion while focusing on customer satisfaction.

The Decatur, Georgia location, managed by the Toxaway Automotive Group, is their 11th Take 5 Oil Change shop since partnering with the brand in 2020. Currently, Take 5 Oil Change operates over 900 shops in the U.S. and Canada, with plans for an additional 300 locations in the pipeline, the majority of which will be franchise-owned.
