Since its initial sponsorship, E3 says it has grown into a major supporter of NHRA, but also has brought an entirely new line of racing ignition products to the sport.
Winners running select E3 products will receive $300 and the runners-up will receive $100. Contingency will be paid at all NHRA Mellow Yellow Drag Racing Series events as well as the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events and the JEGS All Stars events.
In addition to its hallmark street and race spark plugs, the company’s new 16-page catalog features DiamondFIRE racing and street wires, DiamondFIRE distributors, a 6CDI ignition box, high-output CD coil, an external 2-step rev control, O2 sensors, an electronic oil-filled can coil and E3 street coils.
The highly modified Dodge truck built by Amy and EJ Fitzgerald, owners of Cool Hand Customs, will feature three E3 high-performance ignition products: E3 Billet Distributor, Race Spark Plugs and Race Wires.
Motovicity has brought in their wires, coils and plugs, which the company says are known to help increase power, improve fuel efficiency and reduce engine emissions with the use of DiamondFIRE technology.
The three top NHRA drag racers from Don Schumacher Racing will be available to sign autographs at this year’s PRI Show on select days.
The contingency sponsorship applies to racers using E3 spark plugs and wire sets. Finalists in the Pro Mod class that display the E3 decal and use both E3 products will qualify for $1,000 for the winner and $500 for the runner-up.
One grand-prize winner will receive two VIP tickets to the NHRA race of their choice, in addition to winning a 2016 Commemorative NHRA Drag Racing Helmet signed by top NHRA drag racers.
