Superior Industries Names Margaret Dano Lead Director

Dano has served on Superior Industries' board of directors since January 2007. She chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Audit Committee.

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Superior Industries International has announced that Margaret Dano has been elected to the position of lead director by a unanimous vote of the company’s independent, non-executive directors.

"Margaret has 30 years of senior level experience with some of the most well-respected and industry leading companies in the world,” said Steven Borick, chairman, CEO and president. “She is a key member of our board and brings extensive experience in strategic planning, product development and operations. We look forward to her increasingly active involvement at Superior."

Dano has served on Superior Industries’ board of directors since January 2007. She chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Audit Committee. Dano also is the lead director for Anthony International and previously served as a director of Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. Prior to her retirement in 2005, Dano held senior management positions in supply chain and corporate manufacturing and engineering with several major corporations.
