Stefan Hantke Named President Of Sales And Engineering At Schaeffler Industrial

In this role, Hantke has worldwide responsibility for sales.

Schaeffler - LogoOn June 1, Stefan Hantke assumed global management of sales and engineering for the Industrial division of Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG. In his new position, Hantke is a member of the Industrial Division’s Management Board and is responsible for the global sales management for rolling and plain bearing components and systems for approximately 60 different industrial sectors. He also is responsible for the 27 Schaeffler Technology Centers (STC) worldwide. Schaeffler Industrial is represented worldwide with locations and sales offices in around 50 countries, enabling consultation and delivery to take place at the customers’ premises.

 

Hantke has more than 20 years of sales and engineering experience in the mechanical engineering sector, particularly in the field of bearing and linear technology. After completing his studies in mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrucken, in 1992, Hantke started his professional career at Schaeffler in Sector Management at INA Linear Technology in Homburg. After holding various management positions within the Schaeffler Group and in external companies, in 2005 he assumed the position of president of the Linear Technology business unit at Schaeffler. Most recently, Hantke was employed as president Industrial and was responsible for all of Schaeffler’s Industrial division activities in North America.
