Standard Motor Products Releases 149 New Parts For Intermotor Import Line

The release expands coverage through the 2016 model year by more than 50 million additional VIO.

Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) has announced the addition of 149 new part numbers to its Intermotor Import line. The release expands coverage through the 2016 model year by more than 50 million additional VIO.

Standard - Intermotor PartWith this release, SMP has continued its focus on turbochargers with the introduction of 12 new SKUs, including both new and remanufactured units. Another noteworthy line expansion is power door lock actuators, with 36 new SKUs, covering more than 16 million VIO.

Key categories such as sensors and switches also received new items. The company adds 58 new sensors — including ABS speed, accelerator pedal, brake pad wear, steering angle and transmission oil temperature sensors — as well as 26 new switches, such as door jamb, power window, parking brake, ignition starter and windshield wiper switches.

Phil Hutchens, vice president of engine management marketing, SMP, said, “With expansions to our turbocharger, sensor and switch lines, our latest release demonstrates our commitment to giving import technicians quality parts and comprehensive coverage in categories they need.”

All new applications are listed in the Intermotor Import ecatalog and in electronic catalog providers.
