Snap-on reports that it drew a record-setting crowd for its Snap-on Franchisee Conference (SFC) held in Washington, D.C., this year. The three-day business conference brings together Snap-on Tools franchisees for insight, information and celebration shared with company leaders, associates and business partners. Snap-on said its 95th anniversary also offered the opportunity for attendees to celebrate the successes of its past while looking forward to a prosperous future.

“Snap-on franchisees are at the core of the sustained business success Snap-on has enjoyed throughout our 95-year history,” said Tom Kassouf, president of the Snap-on Tools Group. “They are dedicated to serving their customers who depend on Snap-on tools for critical tasks, as many of them have done for decades. Sharing time and information with our franchisees is one of the highlights of the year for all of us. And, meeting in Washington, D.C., a place recognized for its history, is fitting for a great American company like Snap-on.”

The Snap-on Franchisee Conference (SFC) included an exclusive evening at Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum for the more than 8,000 attendees.

More than 8,000 attendees, including representatives of more than 3,000 routes, took part in the SFC this year. Snap-on franchisees toured the product expo, learning directly from those who develop and produce the tools most preferred by technicians. They also attended seminars on techniques for advancing their businesses; which included hands-on demonstrations, as well a sharing of best practices amongst franchisees.

“Snap-on Tools franchisees are a dedicated group of independent entrepreneurs working toward achieving success for their customers and their own families. Our vision for SFC remains that every franchisee comes away equipped with knowledge and information about Snap-on products and programs that will support the choices they make to grow and develop their business,” says Kassouf.

Highlights of this year’s conference included the debut of new large tool sets tailored to every level of technician expertise and specialty; a custom tool storage configurator dubbed “The Ultimator;” a “Party on the Potomac” featuring Grammy-nominated music group Smash Mouth; “Snap-on Saturday Night,” an exclusive evening at Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum; and the giveaway of two high performance ATVs.
