Responsibilities
• Develop aftermarket products to fit the DPSS engine management product category strategy.
• Develop ignition products to meet DPSS product line growth strategy and achieve coverage goals.
• Support supplier development activities to validate purchased products per the DPSS product line strategy.
• Assist the DPSS organization in executing fast, high quality product launches.
• Support Marketing and Brand/Communications in creating technical publications to communicate Delphi product benefits.
• Lead development of global product technical requirements for aftermarket product qualification and sourcing.
• Support the growth of the VE business in all regions by functioning in a global product engineering role.
• Work within the annual engineering department budget.
• Reduce warranty and minimize excess & obsolete material.
Required

• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and operate independently to multiple project and personal goals.
Preferred
• Minimum of 10 years product engineering and production
• Minimum 5 years experience in automotive Ignition or Engine Management Systems product application engineering.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Eng) Required
Masters Degree in Engineering Preferred
