Senior Product Analyst – SE Michigan – Qualis Automotive

The senior product analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting competitor pricing and programs.

The senior product analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting competitor pricing and programs.

The position will also be responsible for analyzing and recommending customer pricing programs, evaluating the potential margin/sales impact, coordinating the product line content/releasing new numbers; maintaining price quotes, documentation, and pricing accuracy/updates. 

The position will also prepare/disseminate customer sales/order fill reports as required, and review customer item purchases/trends versus historical sales data. 

Position reports to the Director of Product Management.

Major Responsibilities:
•Analyze competitor pricing, sales programs, marketing/advertising and recommend program changes accordingly.
•Analyze customer pricing/programs and recommend changes as required based on the projected impact.  
•Continuously review the product line content and recommend product line additions/deletions, in conjunction with catalog management.  Prioritize new number tooling/introductions.  Coordinate activities as required.  Develop and implement new part number pricing.
•Prepare/analyze customer sales and order fill reports.  Disseminate sales/order fill reports as required.

Qualifications:  
College Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive aftermarket. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (all MS Office programs needed). Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
