Affinia Brake and Chassis Hires New Director of Research and Development
Initially, Heidi Rutz will focus on formula and process improvements for the heavy-duty commercial brake block products sold under the Affinia Brake Pro brand. At the same time, she will analyze the process for releasing new formulas for production. With the recent legislation affecting the brake business for low-copper and no-copper friction formulations, Rutz will work with the R&D team to keep Affinia Global Brake and Chassis on the leading edge of technology to deliver safe products that meet or exceed customer expectations, the company said.
