ThyssenKrupp AG will increase the range of vehicle parts it produces in China, supporting its customers as they attempt to increase their share of the growing market. “We will make a complete portfolio of parts in China and will make selective acquisitions here,” said Wolfram Morsdorf, chairman of the executive board of ThyssenKrupp Automotive.

Hi-Tech Engine Components Forms Venture to Supply Factory Quality Engines

Hi-Tech Engine Components has formed a venture with manufacturers that produce new and refurbished factory quality engines, cylinder heads and crankshafts. Under the terms of the venture, Hi-Tech has exclusive marketing and distribution rights in the automotive, truck and marine aftermarket. The new venture, known as the Factory Engineering Group, will produce products at seven U.S. facilities and will distribute from 10 DCs located strategically across the U.S. The venture will operate administrative offices within Hi-Tech’s Salt Lake City facility.

Timken to Become NASCAR Contingency Sponsor
