Littelfuse yesterday welcomed Mexico’s President Vicente Fox to the company’s new 98,000 square-foot manufacturing plant located in Piedras Negras, Mexico. The visit marked the opening of the new plant, highlighting its culture of lean-manufacturing practices. The new plant produces an extensive range of fuses that are used to protect automotive electrical wiring and electronic devices.
