MECHANICSVILLE, VA — The Collision Industry is joining together to buy a specially- equipped bus for long-term benefactor Camp-Mak-A-Dream. The vehicle will be on display at NACE 2005.
“The funding of our prizes is nearly complete, thanks to our generous corporate sponsors,” said Doug Webb, president of the Collision Industry Foundation that oversees the fundraiser. “However, we still have a few openings at the $1,000 level. In addition to the satisfaction of contributing to a very worthwhile effort, your sponsorship will be duly noted on extensive signage at the National Auto Body Council booth at NACE.”
Hop on the Bus Project Chairman Karen Fierst reports that the commitment to sell drawing tickets by both individuals and corporations is off to a great start as well.
“I think the combination of a great cause, great prizes like the trip for two to the Daytona 500, and the caring, giving nature of our collision industry are coming together to make this a huge success,” she said.
Tickets for the Hop on the Bus raffle are $10.00 each and can be purchased by calling the CIF office at 888-667-7433. Books of tickets are also available. The drawing will be held in Las Vegas at NACE. The deadline for entry is Oct.15 and official rules can be viewed at collisionindustryfoundation.org.
The corporate sponsors to date include DuPont, Keystone Automotive, 3M Automotive, CSi Complete, Universal Underwriters, Pacific Auto Company, VengUSA, BASF Corporation, Motor Information Systems, MAXZONE Vehicle Lighting, Mitchell International, Action Crash Parts, Sabry Lee, Inc., ADP, Akzo Nobel Coatings, Genera Corporation, Sterling Collision Centers, City Body & Frame, Sherwin Williams Automotive, State Farm Insurance Company, Fix Auto USA and PPG Industries.
