During the annual meeting, Federated members will attend sessions on a variety of topics including technology, inventory management, employee health care and marketing programs, as well as receive updates from select manufacturers on their latest product offerings. Prior to the official start of the meeting, the Federated co-man council and board of governors will convene.

Federated Members Help Make It A Happy Holiday With Toys For Tots Activities
A recent donation of $145,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation was not the end of the Federated Toys for Tots campaign for 2013; it was just the beginning. Many Federated members are collecting contributions and toys at their store locations for Toys for Tots while others are conducting contests for customers as a way to thank them for their donations to the campaign.

The annual Federated Auto Parts national membership meeting will be held April 24-27 at the Caribe Royale Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., and will feature a new venue, the Federated Vendor Expo, allowing Federated members and manufacturing partners additional opportunity to interact.

AAIA Elects Tim Lee Chairman of the Board
The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has elected Tim Lee of Lang Distributing, as chairman of the AAIA Board of Directors for 2012-2013. Lee was elected as the new AAIA Chairman during Spring Leadership Days on May 4 in Scottsdale, Ariz. He will replace current chairman Bob Egan of Federal-Mogul on July 1. New officers and board of directors also elected.
