At the AASA Member Center in Sands Rooms 104-106, busy exhibitors at AAPEX 2009 can find the services and amenities they need for a successful show.
The AASA Member Center offers a variety of free “extras” to members. Visitors to the AASA Member Center can start the day with free coffee and danish and use dedicated meeting space, which can be reserved in advance. Members can catch up on the latest automotive industry news and financial services information, while perusing a wide range of publications.
The center offers members numerous meeting rooms that can be reserved for groups of various sizes, up to 25 people. AASA members can take a break from the hectic show pace, and enjoy snacks and soft drinks while catching up on the day’s news on CNN, broadcast on a large screen television.
It also features a convenient free e-mail center, which will be available exclusively for member use any time the center is open. The bank of computers and the printer allow members to check e-mail, receive and print documents for customers and print boarding passes.
“We are pleased to offer this valuable service to our members,” said Steve Handschuh, president and COO of AASA.
Non-member exhibiting manufacturers are welcome to come by the AASA Member Center to learn more about the association while taking a break from the show. In exchange for a business card, they can enjoy a cup of coffee and receive sample publications.
“Our center offers members and non-members alike a place to relax and enjoy a sample of AASA’s services,” said Handschuh. “AASA is known for superior market research, up-to-date industry information, industry representation before government agencies, global markets information and world economic news and the advantages of peer and product group participation.”
