Women in Auto Care, a community within the Auto Care Association, announced that registration is now open for its annual Leadership Conference. Scheduled for February 20-22, 2024, the event will take place at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is themed “Innovate and Impact.”
The 2024 Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference will feature a variety of sessions and activities:
- DISC assessments for each attendee;
- An interactive innovation workshop;
- Presentations by thought leaders on the latest industry trends;
- Lightning Talks offering practical tips on leveraging emerging technologies;
- Engaging sessions and activities for personal and professional development;
- Exclusive conversations with industry leaders about their career paths and lessons learned;
- An annual fundraising event supporting the Women in Auto Care scholarship program.
Jessica Toliuszis, chair of Women in Auto Care, emphasized the significance of the event.
“The Women in Auto Care community plays a leading role in providing educational opportunities and support for the industry,” she said. “Our 2024 conference in Salt Lake City will be jam-packed with content for your teams to impact and innovate throughout the industry. Come for the inspiration, leave with actionable insights to responsibly disrupt your business, driving towards our future.”
The conference will also continue its speaker mentorship program. This initiative helps community professionals develop engaging presentations to share their expertise at the conference. The selected applicant will receive mentorship support in creating a presentation of up to 25 minutes.
Additionally, the conference is seeking submissions for its Lightning Talk sessions. These are short, focused presentations of 7-8 minutes that provide practical takeaways on innovation and emerging technology. Attendees are encouraged to submit their ideas for these talks.
Attendees of the Women in Auto Care conferences, accredited by Northwood University since 2012, are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEU) credits. These credits contribute towards the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) professional designations.
