DENSO Sales California, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager - Aftermarket Planning in Long Beach, Calif.

DENSO Sales California, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager – Aftermarket Planning in Long Beach, Calif.

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years Product Management experience with a large manufacturing or sales company. Must possess project management skills.

Must be proficient in MS Office Applications – Intermediate Excel required (pivot tables, VLookups, functions, etc.).

Knowledge of rotating electrical starters and alternators, heavy duty and industrial equipment preferred. Knowledge of Automotive/Heavy Duty-Commercial OE and Aftermarket automotive technologies a plus.

Up to 20% travel required.

Responsibilities will include understanding the market (size, sales channels, competitors, market pricing, trends, drivers and strategy). Identifying opportunities and completing projects from DENSO Japan. Developing strategies to be presented and approved by management, and if approved, launching the product to the aftermarket and providing the application information to Marketing for publication. Supporting internal projects, attending relevant tradeshows and supporting relevant field sales activities.
